Position Summary

The Property & Real Estate Virtual Assistant will oversee the operations of our residential, commercial, and specialty properties, ensuring efficient property management, tenant satisfaction, and strong financial performance. This role also involves researching and analyzing real estate opportunities to support business expansion in areas such as commercial property investments, RV parks, and auto shop and fleet facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management

  • Commercial Property Oversight: Manage leases, tenant relations, rent collection, and coordinate maintenance for commercial tenants. Ensure compliance with lease terms and address tenant inquiries professionally.
  • RV Park Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the RV park, including managing occupancy, billing, groundskeeping, and amenities.
  • Transportation Facility Management: Ensure properties used for operations comply with safety and ADA standards. Coordinate vehicle parking, storage, and maintenance areas specific to transportation needs.
  • Short-Term Rental & Residential Management: Manage Airbnb and other short-term rentals, along with long-term tenants. Handle booking schedules, guest interactions, cleaning, and property upkeep for high guest satisfaction.
  • Tenant Relations: Manage tenant interactions, leases, maintenance requests, and rent collection across residential, commercial, and short-term rental properties.

Real Estate Research & Analysis

  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify properties with potential for investment in commercial spaces, RV parks, and NEMT facilities. Analyze market trends, property values, and other key factors.
  • Property Evaluation: Review zoning laws, compliance requirements, and infrastructure suitability for RV parks, commercial properties, and NEMT facilities.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough property evaluations, including assessments of licensing and compliance requirements for NEMT, commercial spaces, and RV parks.

Operations & Financial Management

  • Budgeting & Financial Reporting: Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial reports to ensure profitability and efficient property operations.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and schedule property maintenance and repairs, liaising with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Build and maintain relationships with service providers for maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, and any commercial facility needs.

Applicable experience

Experience: 3+ years in property management, real estate research, or commercial property management. Experience with RV parks, NEMT shop facilities, or mixed-use properties is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of tenant relations, commercial property leasing, and property management best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate properties for commercial, RV, and NEMT uses, with an understanding of zoning and ADA compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with managing short-term rentals (Airbnb) and multi-use properties.
  • Technology: Property management software, Google workspaces, and real estate research platforms.
  • Travel: Willingness to call, text and do virtual meetings for assessments, virtual property visits, and meetings with tenants and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with NEMT operations and commercial property requirements.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple properties and meet deadlines.
